ACL-American Cruise Lines has commenced its 2023 summer season on the Upper Mississippi River with a selection of 11 unique itineraries and 5 new riverboats. Passengers can enjoy a variety of cruises along the length of the river, including the recently christened American Serenade.
To celebrate the opening of the summer season, ACL is offering complimentary domestic airfare for August and September departures on 8-day Upper Mississippi River cruises between St Louis MO, and St Paul MN. Select dates also provide discounts of up to $1,200 per stateroom, and all cruises include a complimentary pre-cruise hotel stay.
Exploring the Upper Mississippi River with ACL allows guests to experience captivating scenery, hometown Americana, and the rich history of the river. The 8-day Upper Mississippi River cruises offer a range of shore experiences, including visits to Mark Twain's Boyhood Home & Museum in Hannibal MO, and the Lee County Agritourism Experience. Active excursions are also available, such as the Field of Dreams Experience in Dubuque, IA, and the Mark Twain Cave Exploration & Wine Tasting. Passengers can also visit The National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN, to witness the country's largest year-round population of bald eagles in their natural habitat.
These summer cruises take place aboard two of ACL's newest boats - American Symphony and American Serenade, both featuring 100% private balconies. Virtual tours of all ACL's riverboats are available on their website.
