CCL's ship Carnival Legend cruises from San Francisco to Alaska and Mexico in 2025

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line is set to introduce a lineup of cruise offerings from San Francisco CA in 2025. Carnival Legend, with a passenger capacity of 2,124, will take center stage in these seasonal adventures, promising an array of captivating experiences for travelers.

Starting in April 2025, Carnival Legend will embark on a series of journeys, including alternating 10-day cruises to Alaska and 4-day Baja Mexico sailings. The Alaska cruises, commencing on May 12th, 2025, will treat passengers to breathtaking destinations like Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, a scenic traverse of Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska, and a stop in Prince Rupert (BC, Canada).

On May 8th, 2025, the Carnival Legend will kick off its San Francisco sailings with a 4-day Baja Mexico cruise, featuring Ensenada Mexico, on the itinerary. Throughout the summer, the ship will offer 8 more of these enticing 4-day weekend getaways.

Prior to the San Francisco homeporting, Carnival Legend has scheduled a 14-day Carnival Journeys itinerary (Panama Canal transit) leaving from Tampa on April 24th, 2025. This relocation voyage (RepositionCruises.com) visits Colombia (Cartagena), Costa Rica (Puntarenas), and Mexico (Cabo San Lucas) before San Francisco (arrival on May 8th).

Following the Alaskan and Baja Mexico voyages, Carnival Legend has scheduled a 15-day Carnival Journeys itinerary (roundtrip from SF to Hawaii) departing on September 21st. This voyage visits Kahului Maui; Honolulu Oahu; Nawiliwili Kauai; and Hilo Hawaii, along with Ensenada.

Carnival Legend promises to deliver the signature venues that CCL fans adore, including Guy’s Burger Joint, the BlueIguana Cantina, the RedFrog and Alchemy bars, WaterWorks Aqua Park, and The Punchliner Comedy Club. It also offers a range of accommodations, including 50 suites and over 630 balcony staterooms.

Carnival Cruise Line has also revealed deployment plans for 2025 Alaska cruises departing from Seattle WA, with Carnival Spirit and Carnival Luminosa offering week-long sailings to popular destinations in the region.
