After an illustrious two-decade tenure in AIDA's fleet, encompassing 800+ voyages spanning the world's most captivating regions, AIDA Cruises has bid a fond farewell to the AIDAaura.

This departure is marked by a mixture of nostalgia and appreciation, as the entire fleet acknowledges the ship's significant contributions, having explored more of the planet than any other vessel within their ranks.

Over her remarkable career, affectionately known as "the little one," the AIDAaura has graciously hosted approximately 1 million guests and crew members. Each of them carries cherished memories of their time on board, whether it be the breathtaking Mediterranean sunsets, exhilarating whale-watching adventures in the Pacific, or the joy of dancing beneath the starlit Atlantic skies.

Nonetheless, as the adage goes, all good things must eventually conclude. With a heartfelt "AURAvoir" and sincere expressions of gratitude, the crew and all those fortunate enough to have experienced this remarkable vessel bid their farewells.

Boris Henn, Entertainment Manager at AIDA, shared his final farewell to AIDAaura on social media:

"It's the last call. Time to say goodbye… AIDAaura arrived in Bremerhaven this morning for the very last time. I'm going to miss you, old lady. So many incredible memories. Great people. Amazing times. Thank you! Wishing smooth sailing for your future crew and guests under a new name and a new flag."
