MSC Cruises adjusts Musica's summer itinerary amid Middle East geopolitical landscape

In response to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, MSC Cruises made changes to MSC Musica's summer 2024 itinerary program.

The ship's canceled sailings, which included stops in Haifa Israel, are now replaced with 7-night roundtrip itineraries (out of homeport Civitavecchia-Rome Italy) running between May and October (2024).

The new itinerary visits Genoa Italy, Cannes France, Barcelona (Spain), Ibiza Island (Balearic Spain) and Cagliari (Sardinia Italy).

This modification aligns with the broader industry adaptations prompted by the geopolitical situation in Israel.

In October, MSC canceled Red Sea voyages scheduled for MSC Orchestra (November 2023 to April 2024) and MSC Sinfonia's winter season (due to the planned stops in Haifa).

Windstar, unrelated to the Middle East conflict, canceled its inaugural Red Sea season scheduled for November (2023) and rescheduled the program for November 2024.

Additionally, MSC has introduced new Greek Island destinations to MSC Opera's existing 7-night itineraries from May through October. Departing and returning from Bari Italy, the ship will include stops in Piraeus-Athens, Santorini Island, Katakolon, Corfu Island, and Kefalonia Greece.
