Silversea proudly christened Silver Nova, heralded as "the epitome of eco-conscious ultra-luxury maritime engineering."

This 728-guest marvel shall grace the Australian waters during the 2024-2025 season, navigating the seas between Sydney, Melbourne, New Zealand, and Singapore.

In a ceremony at Fort Lauderdale FL USA, the maritime domain welcomed the arrival of the 'Ship of Light' to Silversea's fleet. Distinguished by its innovative design, featuring an unprecedented 4,000m2 of glass, Silver Nova offers an immersive experience, seamlessly integrating guests with the destination across various venues and suites.

Notable among these is the pool deck, commanding a view of the starboard side, along with the novel outdoor spaces - the Dusk Bar and the Marquee - demonstrating her distinctive openness to the surrounding environment.

Boasting a remarkable space-to-guest ratio of 75 GRT-per-guest, the highest in Silversea's fleet, Silver Nova sets a new standard. With a crew-to-guest ratio of 1:1.3, including personalized butler service for all suites, she promises one of the most exclusive levels of service at sea.

The naming ceremony was led by godmother Nina Compton, a renowned New Orleans LA chef and restaurant owner. The event featured bagpipes and an exclusive screening of a commemorative video in honor of Silversea's 30th anniversary.

Having embarked on the maiden voyage from Venice on August 14, 2023, and with the Naming Ceremony in Fort Lauderdale now behind her, Silver Nova embarks on her inaugural Grand Voyage - the Grand Voyage South America 2024. Over 71 days, she will circumnavigate the continent, making port in 38 destinations across 18 countries.
