CCL-Carnival Cruise Line's new Transpacific Journey on Carnival Luminosa ship (2025)

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled its latest addition to the Carnival Journeys program, announcing the launch of a new transpacific cruise aboard Carnival Luminosa for 2025.

Following the conclusion of her Alaska season, Carnival Luminosa will embark on a remarkable 22-day voyage from Seattle, Washington to Sydney, Australia, traversing captivating destinations such as Hawaii and various South Pacific islands.

Scheduled to depart from Seattle on September 18, 2025, Luminosa is set to arrive in Sydney on October 11, 2025.

The itinerary features stops at Honolulu, Hawaii; Papeete (Tahiti), Moorea, French Polynesia, and Noumea, New Caledonia, offering passengers an enriching exploration of diverse locales.

This new itinerary reflects Carnival's commitment to providing guests with a broader array of travel options, showcasing the allure of extended journeys and unique destinations through the Carnival Journeys program. With an emphasis on longer sailings coinciding with ship repositionings and dry dock schedules, Carnival aims to meet the evolving preferences of its clientele.

In addition to the newly announced Transpacific crossing, Carnival Journeys offers a selection of other transpacific and Transatlantic voyages (RepositionCruises.com) for booking. These include an 18-day journey from Long Beach/Los Angeles CA to Yokohama-Tokyo on Carnival Panorama departing on August 22, 2024, and a 29-day voyage from Brisbane QLD to Seattle WA on Carnival Luminosa departing on April 3, 2025.

The Carnival Journeys program encompasses various transatlantic options as well, with itineraries ranging from a 12-day cruise from Baltimore MD to Barcelona, Spain on Carnival Legend departing on April 15, 2024, to a 14-day voyage from Port Canaveral/Orlando Florida to Barcelona, Spain on Carnival Mardi Gras departing on September 13, 2025.
