Sea Cloud Cruises introduces new Puerto Rico-based/roundtrip itineraries

Sea Cloud Cruises has unveiled its 2025 Caribbean season, featuring 4 new itineraries centered around Puerto Rico aboard the Sea Cloud Spirit.

The vessel will be stationed in San Juan throughout January 2025, providing guests with the opportunity to admire the Castillo San Felipe del Morro “El Morro” up close. Each itinerary includes overnight stays in boutique Caribbean ports such as St. Barth’s, Virgin Gorda, and Norman Island, along with popular activities like beach barbecues, crew-led sea shanty singalongs, and photo safaris under full sail.

The Puerto Rico 2025 sailing itineraries are as follows:

  • Philipsburg to San Juan (January 4-10): 6 nights, featuring an overnight stay in Virgin Gorda, with stops in Gustavia, a day sailing through the Sir Francis Drake Channel, an overnight stay in Norman Island, concluding in San Juan.
  • San Juan roundtrip (January 10-17): 7 nights, including visits to Virgin Gorda, Norman Island, an overnight stay in Gustavia, St. John’s (Antigua), St. John (USVI), before returning to San Juan.
  • San Juan roundtrip (January 17-24): 7 nights, with stops in Virgin Gorda, Norman Island, St. John’s, an overnight stay in Gustavia, St. John, and concluding in San Juan.
  • San Juan to Philipsburg (January 24-February 1): 8 nights, featuring visits to St. John, Norman Island, an overnight stay in Virgin Gorda, a day sailing under full sail, stops in St. John’s, Charlestown, Gustavia, before ending in Philipsburg.

Sea Cloud Cruises voyages offer an open bar, all meals with exclusive wine and beer selections, water sports, port charges, gratuities, and a welcome bottle of champagne. Fares for the Puerto Rico voyages start at US$5,130 per person, based on double occupancy, for bookings made by February 28, 2024.

Since 2019, the entire Sea Cloud fleet has been docking at the Antigua Cruise Port, and the Sea Cloud Spirit is scheduled to make its inaugural visit to the Nassau Cruise Port in March 2024.
