CCL-Carnival Cruise Line is entering the 2025 summer season with its most extensive deployment to date.

With a fleet of 29 large vessels in operation and the upcoming debut of Celebration Key (Grand bahama Island), the company anticipates transporting nearly 2 million guests between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Over the summer, Carnival ships are scheduled to make 1,200+ port calls across nearly 100 destinations.

Celebration Key, an exclusive private destination developed by CCL, is expected to begin welcoming guests on July 19. During its inaugural season, the port will host over 80 ship visits from 15 vessels sailing out of eight U.S. homeports. The development is designed to enhance the guest experience in The Bahamas and signals a broader expansion of the line’s destination offerings.

CCL continues to focus on accessibility, with 13 USA homeports placing the majority of the population within a five-hour drive of embarkation. This proximity, coupled with the all-inclusive nature of cruising, is positioned as a cost-effective alternative to land-based vacations.

CCL's economic footprint in the USA is projected to exceed US$635 million this summer through pre- and post-cruise spending in homeport cities. Meanwhile, onboard consumption is expected to be significant, with millions of meals, beverages, and desserts served across the fleet.

Beyond the Caribbean, CCL is also active in Alaska and Europe this season. Three ships are operating in Alaska from Seattle and San Francisco, with a projected 100,000 guests sailing to scenic and wildlife-rich destinations. In Europe, Carnival Miracle is visiting ports in 17 countries, while the company also marks 20 years of operations from Civitavecchia (Rome). Additionally, three ships are deployed year-round from Sydney and Brisbane, supporting continued growth in the Australian market.
