CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has opened reservations for its 2027–2028 season in Florida, unveiling a reassignment of Carnival Venezia to a South Florida base, along with broadened itineraries for Carnival Magic and Carnival Vista.

The line will station Venezia in Miami beginning in May 2027, rather than its prior seasonal deployment, enabling 6- and 8-day Caribbean voyages. The ship will sail from Miami through April 2028, visiting ports on both Western and Southern Caribbean routes—with calls including Carnival’s exclusive destination Celebration Key, Jamaican and Cayman Islands ports, and in 8-day sailings, Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.

At the same time, Carnival Magic will maintain Miami as its homeport and take on an expanded itinerary slate: 6- and 8-day sailings into Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean waters. Stops will include exclusive ports such as RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, as well as established stops like Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and St. Croix; in the Southern Caribbean, the ship will touch Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.

Meanwhile, Carnival Vista will operate year-round from Port Canaveral with a diverse set of week-long cruises through Bahamian and Caribbean waters. Its itineraries will include calls at Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale, as well as regional mainstays such as Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

According to Carnival’s announcement, the repositioning of Venezia to Miami is intended to offer travellers more scheduling flexibility and longer Caribbean itineraries from a southern hub, while allowing Magic and Vista to deepen their presence and options in Florida.

The Venezia class itself blends Carnival’s signature style with Italian design influences, featuring dining venues and entertainment spaces tailored to its theme.
