Scenic Group has launched its 2028–2029 Europe, Mediterranean and Americas Discovery Yacht collection, headlined by the inaugural season of Scenic Ikon and an expanded portfolio of integrated land journeys. Scheduled to enter service in April 2028, the new vessel will join Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II, increasing the company's Discovery Yacht fleet to three ships and broadening its range of ocean and land travel experiences.

The inaugural deployment of Scenic Ikon will focus on the Eastern Mediterranean, Adriatic and Aegean, with itineraries featuring destinations including the Greek islands of Naxos, Milos, Paros and Hydra, together with Adriatic ports such as Kotor, Dubrovnik and Zadar. The programme also introduces calls at Istanbul, voyages through the Dardanelles with opportunities to visit Troy and ANZAC Cove, and an overnight experience in Egypt centred on the Pyramids of Giza. In the Atlantic, Scenic has expanded its itineraries to include Cape Verde and Dakar, extending the company's presence into West Africa. The three Discovery Yachts have been designed to access smaller ports and remote destinations that are generally inaccessible to larger cruise vessels.

To complement the new cruise programme, Scenic has expanded its collection of handcrafted land journeys in Italy, Malta, Turkey and Greece. The small-group itineraries have been developed to connect directly with selected Discovery Yacht voyages, allowing guests to combine coastal and inland destinations within a single itinerary. The company stated that the land programmes include luxury accommodation, transfers, selected meals, guided sightseeing and the services of a dedicated Scenic Tour Director, creating a seamless transition between land and sea travel. Angus Crichton, Scenic Group's Director of Land Product, explained that the itineraries had been specifically designed to integrate with pre- and post-cruise programmes, enabling guests to experience multiple regions through a single curated journey.

Scenic has also expanded the range of benefits available to guests travelling in Panorama, Grand Panorama, Scenic Yacht, Grand Terrace, Owner's Penthouse and Ikon Penthouse suites. Selected Signature Yacht Cruises in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Americas will now include a private half-day excursion with a personal guide, while eligible suite guests will receive complimentary chauffeur-driven airport transfers at the beginning and end of their journey. Depending on the suite category, additional inclusions will feature helicopter landing experiences, where permitted, offering access to destinations and activities such as golf at Sicily's Verdura Resort and France's Terre Blanche, visits to Portonovi and Elba, and truffle-hunting experiences in Croatia.

Guests staying in the Ikon Penthouse, together with Chairman's Club members, will have exclusive access to the new Chairman's Lounge aboard Scenic Ikon. The private venue will include its own bar and offer access to menus drawn from the yacht's collection of up to 15 dining venues. In addition, guests booking eligible Super Earlybird fares on selected voyages departing between 2027 and 2029 will receive complimentary helicopter flightseeing experiences, subject to operational conditions and regulatory approval.
