Silversea has announced additional itineraries for its 2028–2029 Voyage Collection. Titled Let the World Surprise You, it features 103 voyages scheduled between September 2028 and May 2029.
The itineraries cover 219 destinations in 56 countries and introduce 29 new ports of call across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and South America. General sales opened on October 8th, 2026, following a preview for Venetian Society members on October 6th.
The collection is structured around major cultural events, seasonal culinary experiences and destination-focused itineraries. Highlights include Carnival celebrations in Venice and Rio de Janeiro, New Year’s Eve calls in Funchal and Sydney, new S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages focused on European truffle and wine seasons and Southeast Asian markets, and a 75-night circumnavigation of South America aboard Silver Nova.
Silversea President Bert Hernandez outlined the range of options available to guests, from culinary itineraries shaped by local food traditions to an extended South American voyage and a dedicated destination experience on the Caribbean island of Canouan.
Mediterranean deployment
Silver Nova and Silver Dawn will operate 17 Mediterranean voyages between October 2028 and March 2029, visiting 53 destinations across 12 countries. The program includes new calls at Brindisi and Imperia, alongside overnight stays in Cádiz, Funchal in Madeira, Fusina near Venice, Genoa, Istanbul, Livorno in Tuscany, Naples and Valletta. The two-ship deployment is designed to provide additional opportunities for combining itineraries across the eastern and western Mediterranean.
Silver Dawn will offer overnight stays in Venice during Carnival, providing guests with opportunities to experience the festivities after dark, including an evening event inspired by Casanova. Another sailing will position the ship in Funchal for New Year’s Eve, allowing guests to view the island’s fireworks display before the vessel continues to Casablanca and Tangier.
The ship will also operate three additional sailings featuring Alexandria, with an excursion combining visits to the Great Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as two further itineraries calling at Istanbul.
New S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages
Silversea is expanding its S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages, which focus on regional food traditions through shore excursions and onboard programming led by local experts, chefs, sommeliers and mixologists.
Three Wine & Truffle voyages aboard Silver Dawn are scheduled between October and December 2028. These itineraries will connect destinations in Italy and Spain, tracing culinary regions from Livorno, the gateway to Tuscany, to Palamós on the edge of Catalonia’s truffle-producing areas. Planned activities include truffle-hunting excursions, guided vineyard visits, onboard tastings and chef-led programs.
Four Asian Markets voyages aboard Silver Muse will operate between Singapore and Hong Kong. The itineraries will feature excursions led by local food specialists, chef-guided market visits and experiences at hawker stalls and street-food destinations.
Caribbean and Central America deployment
Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Spirit and Silver Shadow will operate 38 voyages across the Caribbean and Central America between November 2028 and March 2029. The deployment covers 34 destinations in 21 countries and includes a new call at La Romana in the Dominican Republic. Round-trip departures will be available from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and San Juan.
The program also includes a dedicated Silversea Destination Experience on Canouan, in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The full-day call will feature a welcome with local dancers and a steel band, followed by a beachside gathering with refreshments and live music.
Silver Ray and Silver Spirit will each operate round-trip voyages from Miami lasting between eight and 12 days, with itineraries featuring St. Barts alongside destinations such as Antigua, Anguilla and St. Kitts.
Silver Nova to operate 75-night Grand South America voyage
A major component of the collection is Grand South America 2029, a 75-night round-trip voyage aboard Silver Nova. The ship is scheduled to depart Fort Lauderdale on January 13th, 2029, and return on March 29th.
The itinerary includes a Panama Canal transit, scenic cruising along the Antarctic Peninsula and overnight stays in Manaus, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Callao near Lima and Cartagena.
Three exclusive events are planned during the voyage. In Gustavia, St. Barts, guests will attend a sunset reception followed by dinner and live music. In Rio de Janeiro, the program includes reserved seating and dedicated hospitality at the Sambadrome for the city’s Carnival parade. The final event is scheduled in Cartagena and will feature live music, dancers and cultural performances at a rooftop venue overlooking the bay.
Australia, New Zealand and Asia
Silver Moon will operate 10 voyages in Australia and New Zealand between October 2028 and March 2029, visiting 42 destinations across 3 countries. The itineraries introduce calls at Batemans Bay and Phillip Island and include scenic cruising through Dusky Sound. New combinations in New Zealand, including a round-trip itinerary from Melbourne, and routes linking Australia with Indonesia will provide additional itinerary options. The ship is also scheduled for an overnight call in Sydney on New Year’s Eve.
In Asia, Silver Moon and Silver Muse will operate a combined 26 voyages between September 2028 and May 2029, covering 62 destinations across 11 countries. The program introduces eight new ports: Yeosu, Hitachinaka, Miyako-jima, Vigan, Muara, Sihanoukville, Makassar and Maizuru, which serves the Kyoto region. Kobe and Bali will also become new turnaround ports, allowing for additional combinations of sailings.
The Asian itineraries are timed to coincide with seasonal events, including Japan’s cherry blossom season and Lunar New Year celebrations in Hong Kong.
With its 2028–2029 collection, Silversea is combining regional deployments with longer voyages, overnight port calls and culinary-focused itineraries, expanding the range of travel options across its Mediterranean, Caribbean, South American, Australasian and Asian programs.
