Passenger Medevaced From Carnival Cruise Ship

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has medevaced a passenger from Carnival cruise ship on Saturday, December 24.

The Coast Guard airlifted a 72-year-old woman from Carnival Pride which was about 50 miles east of Savannah GA.

The ship notified the USCG station in Charleston around noon that the passenger was experiencing pneumonia but was not reacting to treatment. Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Air Station Savannah medevaced the lady 90 minutes later and she was transported to Savannah Memorial Hospital.
