A woman alleges she was injured due to a slippery surface on a Celebrity Cruises ship.
Lisa A. Hunt filed a complaint on March 6 in the U.S. District Court for Southern District of Florida against Celebrity Cruises alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered physical injuries when she slipped and fell on a slippery surface while traveling on the Celebrity Equinox on March 8, 2016. The plaintiff holds Celebrity Cruises Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of the floor.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Michael R. Karcher of Karcher Canning & Karcher in Dania Beach.
