Hurricane Nate Changes Cruise Itineraries

   October 9, 2017 ,   Accidents

Both Port of New Orleans and Port of Mobile are closed to marine traffic and will reopen after Hurricane Nate has passed.

Due to the ports' closure, two cruises were changed.

  • The October 7 voyage aboard Carnival Fantasy left on Sunday, October 8 for a 4-day trip. Originally, Carnival Fantasy was scheduled for a 5-day cruise.
  • The October 8 voyage aboard Carnival Dream departs today, October 9 for a 6-day, instead of the originally planned 7-day trip.

Passengers who sail on modified cruises will receive 1-day pro-rated refund equal to 1 day of their fare. Guests who opt to cancel can do so and receive future cruise credit equal to the cruise fare.
