Just a couple of months before the return of the first cruise ship to ever visit Wollongong there is another good news for the port city as a cruise destination because 2 more cruise ships are coming from 2 different companies.

MSC Magnifica will visit Port Kembla as part of ship's world cruise on March 17, 2020.

Norwegian Cruise Line is returning next year with Norwegian Jewel set to sail into Port Kembla on December 14, 2018.

Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas returns to Wollongong January 29, 2018. Explorer of the Seas makes her first visit March 18, 2018 and returns February 11, 2019 which gives Wollongong 5 more cruise visits.

The arrival of Magnifica means the city has attracted the largest privately-owned cruise line in the world. The visit of the cruise ship, carrying over 2500 passengers, is part of a 116-day voyage from Italy.
