The long-time partnership between FOOD & WINE and Holland America has delivered immersive culinary experiences for over a dozen years. Now the collaboration is expanding via a collection of culinary-themed EXC Tours (shore excursions), which explore food, wine and culture in some of the hottest gastronomic locales in the world.
23 new shore trips are now available to book on select 2018 voyages to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. FOOD & WINE EXC Tours on cruises to the Mediterranean are offered in Dubrovnik, Kerkira (Corfu Island), Thira (Santorini Island), Livorno (Florence-Pisa), Venice, Naples, Monte Carlo, Cadiz, Kotor, Malaga and Barcelona.
Guests have the chance to take hands-on cooking classes, visit wineries, go on culinary walking tours, explore local hideaways, sample street food and more.
Over the next year, the tours will be available in expanding array of destinations, such as additional European ports, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Alaska, Canada & New England, Mexico, Caribbean, South America.
