Norwegian Cruise Line Begins Port Canaveral to Cuba Sailings

The first regularly scheduled voyages from Port Canaveral FL to Cuba begin on Monday, May 7, when Norwegian Sun departs on a 4-night cruise.

The Cuban itineraries will include visits to the Cuban capital Havana, and to Key West. They will sail out of Port Canaveral every Monday during summer 2018 season. 

Port Canaveral (Orlando, Florida)

In addition to the 4-night cruises to Cuba, Norwegian Sun will offer 3-night itineraries from Port Canaveral to Bahamas that will sail on Fridays. Those trips will call at either Freeport or Nassau, as well as at Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's private island.

The 1,936-guest Norwegian Sun will be berthed at Cruise Terminal 10, where Port Canaveral invested more than US$35 million in renovations in 2016.

Norwegian Sun is due to arrive at Port Canaveral at 7:00 a.m. on Monday and set sail at 4:00 p.m.

Fares on the new Bahamas and Cuba cruises on Norwegian Sun offer unlimited beverages, including alcohol.

Norwegian Sun will be one of 4 cruise liners at Port Canaveral on Monday. She will be joined by Port Canaveral-based Disney Dream and Majesty of the Seas. Norwegian Gem will also be there for a port-of-call visit.
