Princess Cruises Unveils the Name of Its Newest Ship

As Princess Cruises continues the expansion of its fleet, the premium international line unveiled the name of the vessel it will introduce in 2020 – Enchanted Princess.

Enchanted Princess is due to debut June 15, 2020 with a series of European itineraries. Bookings for the maiden season of the newbuild open November 8, 2018.

Enchanted Princess' arrival will be followed by the 6th Royal-Class Princess Cruises ship in 2022. The cruise company also has a couple of new LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) powered vessels on order, bringing its new ship order to 5 in 6 years.

Building of the 143,700 GT, 3,660-guest Enchanted Princess will take place in Fincantieri Monfalcone shipyard. The newbuild is set to feature an evolution of the design platform that was used for the previous Royal-Class ships of Princess.

The cruise line currently operates a fleet of 17 contemporary cruise ships, sailing itineraries around the globe. The new Enchanted Princess is a sister ship to 4 other Royal-Class ships in the fleet – Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess, Sky Princess (debuting October 2019).
