In addition, Norwegian Cruise LinesNCL Joy will call on Icy Strait next year. At approximately 4,000 guests each, Joy and her sister ship Bliss are the largest cruisers scheduled to sail in Alaska 2019.

In 2004, its first season of operation, Icy Strait Point saw only 32 cruise ship calls.
