Fincantieri will build a 4th liner for Virgin Voyages, due to be delivered at the end of 2023.
The newbuild will be sister ship to the 3 others on order. Construction is currently underway at Sestri Ponente Shipyard (near Genoa) and the first trio of ships will enter the fleet of Virgin Voyages in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
The 4th ship will be approx 110,000GT, 278-meter in length and 38-meter in width. It will feature 1400+ passenger cabins designed to accommodate 2770 guests.
The vessels will be equipped with energy production system of approx 1 MW, which uses power plant's waste heat.
