   November 1, 2018 ,   Accidents

Passengers aboard Carnival Sunshine had scary few minutes when the vessel listed shortly after it left Port Canaveral on a 6-night cruise on Sunday, October 28.

Due to the unexpected tilting, items fell off shelves in cabins, plates slid off tables and crashed onto the floor with some travelers fearing the worst.

A statement from Carnival Cruise Line read that the ship had experienced technical issue that caused it to list slightly. The issue had immediately been corrected.

All activities and systems were running and Carnival Sunshine continued to sail as scheduled, arriving in Amber Cove on Tuesday, October 30.
