Star Clippers Offers 10 Themed Cruises on Its Tall Ships

Star Clippers recently introduced 10 themed itineraries onboard its 3 tall ships in 2019, during cruises in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and South Asia. These include 5 with yoga practitioners onboard, while the others with a celebrity fitness instructor, Italian chef, famous fashion stylist, and published author in Mediterranean history and archaeology.

  • Line’s yoga trips offer sessions on deck in the morning and at sunset. Joel Harper, former model and celebrity personal trainer, will bring his workouts to passengers onboard Star Flyer’s voyage from St Maarten on March 23, 2019. Harper's clients include Olympic medallists, musicians and actors.
  • Popular Neapolitan chef, Armando Bisceglia, will join Royal Clipper’s roundtrip voyage from Civitavecchia-Rome on September 7, 2019. The chef will be serving Italian cuisine when the cruise ship drops anchor at Ponza, Palmarola, along Amalfi Coast, Sicily, the volcanic island of Lipari, as well as while passing the volcano on Stromboli Island.
  • A couple of archaeology-themed journeys, accompanied by author and historian Renata Scheiper, are expected in May 2019. These will sail out of Athens around Cyclades islands, discussing ancient Greece and archaeology of the Mediterranean.
  • Celebrity stylist Samantha Brown will join Royal Clipper on June 1, 2019, for a trip from Cannes. Her credits include more than 1,000 fashion shows, New York Fashion Week and more.
