MSC Cruises announced that its newbuild liner MSC Seaside will be leaving America to be deployed in the Mediterranean (Europe) and homeported in Genoa Italy.

Beginning summer 2021, MSC Divina will be homeported in Port Canaveral Florida operating on 3- to 7-night roundtrips with departures on Thursdays and Sundays. MSC is hoping that the new homeport would encourage customers to combine land-and-sea adventures. Port Canaveral is the cruise port to Orlando City - one of the country's most popular travel destinations and also considered Walt Disney's "capital city".

Cruisers can book 3- or 4-night roundtrips on MSC Divina before or after a stop at Walt Disney World, while still staying within the 7-day range of a vacation.

Meanwhile, MSC Armonia and MSC Meraviglia will also be homeported in Florida - at PortMiami. All voyages will visit MSC's private island Ocean Cay. Meraviglia will operate 7-night cruises departing on Saturdays, while Armonia will operate 3- and 4-night cruises departing on Mondays and Fridays.
