RCI-Royal Caribbean International's liner Quantum of the Seas will stay in Asia in summer 2021, instead of the planned Alaskan season (May 10 through September 27).

According to RCI, the ship, currently sailing short cruises-to-nowhere out of homeport Singapore, would stay in the Asia-Pacific region for summer 2021 season.

Quantum OTS had been Asia-based before the pandemic, leaving roundtrip from homeports Tianjin-Beijing China and Singapore.

In summer 2021, Quantum OTS was scheduled to operate 7-day Alaskan roundtrips from Seattle, together with 3 other RCI liners - Ovation OTS, Radiance OTS and Serenade OTS, based in Seattle WA, Vancouver BC Canada and Seward AK, respectively.

The Quantum ship's Alaska 2022 cruises remain as scheduled and available for booking. In winter 2021-2022 (Oct 30 through April 11) the ship is homeported in Brisbane QLD Australia.
