The new 136-passenger ship Sea Cloud Spirit was officially delivered by the Metalships & Docks Shipyard in Vigo Spain.
Sea Cloud Spirit is a 3-mast, tall-sailing ship. A tall ship is called a full-rigged vessel when it has at least 3 masts with complete square rigging.
The boat combines traditional windjammer experience with the 21st century's feel-good factor for up to 136 passengers. She is the 3rd vessel in the Sea Cloud Cruises fleet, joining 4-masted flagship Sea Cloud (1931-built) and Sea Cloud 2 (2001-built).
The newbuild will spend the fall in the Western Mediterranean and the winter season in the Canary Islands.
