Crystal Cruises announced it had added Miami Florida as a port of call and a port of embarkation for the Luxury Bahamas Escapes voyages aboard Crystal Serenity.

The addition of PortMiami began with the Saturday, August 7 cruise from Nassau (Bahamas, New Providence Island) with embarkation from the Port commencing on Monday, August 9.

The update to the itinerary allows travellers to enjoy a U.S. city departure with ample flight options and another port of call for passengers sailing on the unique itinerary. The 7-night round-trip Luxury Bahamas Escapes were extended to early November and already include 3 ports of embarkation: Nassau (on Saturdays), Bimini (Sundays), and PortMiami (Mondays).

A new 4-night Luxury Bahamas Getaway journey on November 15 round-trip from PortMiami FL has been added that will call at San Salvador and Exuma while featuring a day at sea.

As part of the Crystal Clean+ measures, Crystal Cruises' passengers 12+ must be fully inoculated with a COVID vaccine at least 14 days before boarding. However, due to Florida state law, the line will adjust the policy for PortMiami embarkation and will recommend, but not require, that all passengers be fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated vacationers must be pre-approved after the initial waitlist, are subject to capacity control, and proof of valid travel insurance is required.

Unvaccinated passengers have to adhere to specific protocols and testing requirements in addition to restrictions during their voyage.
