On October 5, Saga UK's cruise ship Spirit of Adventure is scheduled to depart on a 5-day "Taste of the Continent" itinerary visiting Holland (Rotterdam, Amsterdam) and Belgium (Zeebrugge-Bruges). All staterooms have step-out balcony and prices start from GBP 1156 per person with double occupancy.
On October 24 departs the 22-night Mediterranean and Adriatic voyage on Saga's ship Spirit of Discovery ("Treasures of the Croatian Coast" itinerary) visiting Hvar Croatia, Split Croatia,Venice Italy, Valetta Malta, Kotor Montenegro, and Mahon (Menorca Island, Balearic Spain). All staterooms are balconied and prices start from GBP 6299 pp.
These follow Saga's summer Around-Britain program of domestic voyages (with Spirit of Adventure) which started on August 10th. The 6-night itinerary (from GBP 1112 pp) was a roundtrip from Portsmouth sailing around Falmouth England and visiting the Isles of Scilly, with an included shore excursion to Tresco Abbey Garden prior to heading to Isle of Portland (Weymouth, Dorset England) on the UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast.
On August 16, Spirit of Adventure started the "Western Wonders of Britain" (7-night itinerary) visiting Isle of Anglesey (Holyhead) and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with calls at Holyhead and Fishguard Wales, followed by Liverpool, before heading to Falmouth Cornwall. Prices started from GBP 1386 pp.
Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure will visit the Scottish Highlands and Islands on 3 separate sailings departing August 15, 23 & 27, 2021. The itinerary takes in the fishing town of Scrabster, close to the village of John O’Groats, Lerwick, the major town and port on the Shetland Islands, as well as Invergordon, the gateway to the Highlands, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness.
Prices start from GBP 1106 pp on the Spirit of Discovery (departing August 15), from GBP 1199 pp on Spirit of Adventure (departing August 23) and from GBP 1113 pp on Spirit of Discovery (departing August 27).
A new 6-night "Around Wales and the West Country" voyage on Spirit of Discovery is scheduled to depart on August 21. The itinerary goes along England's south coast, stopping to explore Portsmouth and to visit Falmouth, before continuing to Scilly and Fishguard within the heart of the Pembrokeshire NP. Prices start from GBP 1109 pp.
