Donegal is a port town in County Donegal (Ulster province, Ireland), with population around 3,000. Donegal Town is at the mouth of Eske River and Donegal Bay.
Donegal was the 'capital' of the Gaelic kingdom Tyrconnell (late-15th century-1607 AD) of the O'Donnell dynasty (powerful Irish family).
Local economy is based on tourism as the region features sandy beaches (some great for surfing), hill-walking (Blue Stack Mountains), many hotels, swimming pools, cinemas, large shopping malls. The town is also famous for its weaving carpets.
The Donegal cruise port map is interactive. It shows the port's exact location, along with the real-time cruise ship traffic (if any) in its vicinity - today, and right now. By zooming-out you can see other cruise ship ports located near Donegal, Ireland.
If you lose the Donegal location on the map, simply reload the page (also with F5 button). This feature is integrated with the CruiseMapper's cruise ship tracker tracking the vessels' current positions at sea and in ports.
