Kyle of Lochalsh (port locode GBKYL) is a port village on Scotland's northwestern coast, with population under 1,000. It is located at Loch Alsh's entrance, opposite Kyleakin (Isle of Skye), approx 100 km (63 mi) west of Inverness. Before 1995, a ferry connected the two villages but was replaced by the Skye Bridge (a road bridge over Loch Alsh).

Kyle of Lochalsh is the shopping and transport centre for the region, featuring a harbour with a Marina for berthing yachts and leisure boats. The surrounding scenery and unique wildlife are the main tourist attractions. Salmon farming is among the common activities in the village.

A railway station (connecting to Inverness) was opened in 1897 to improve public transportation in northwestern Scotland. The railway ends on the water's edge, close to the pier where the ferry used to dock.

The control centre of the Royal Naval BUTEC submarine range is here.

In 1980, the BBC produced the documentary series "Great Railway Journeys Of The World," and Kyle of Lochalsh appeared in the episode "Confessions of a Trainspotter". Along with nearby Plockton, Kyle of Lochalsh became the backdrop to the BBC's TV series "Hamish MacBeth" (comedy-mystery-drama aired in 1995).
