Vadso is a port city located in Finnmark, Norway. The town has population around 5,000 and is the municipality's (and Finnmark county's) administrative centre. Other settlements include Kiby, Krampenes, Ekkeroy, Valen, Skallelv, Vestre Jakobselv.

Vadso is one of the Hurtigruten ports along the "Express Route" (Norwegian Coastal Express). This is a regularly scheduled ferry and cruise itinerary in Norway, between the turnaround ports Bergen (southmost) and Kirkenes (northmost).

Located on the shores of Varangerfjorden, the municipality is famous for its birdlife. Salmon fishing permits are offered for use on specific rivers.
