AmaMelodia cabins review
AmaWaterways' cruise ship AmaMelodia features a total of 32 staterooms, all configured for double occupancy, accommodating up to 64 passengers across five cabin categories.
Each stateroom is designed as a "Twin Balcony" cabin, offering both a French Balcony (floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors) and a small step-out veranda measuring 2 m2 (20 ft2).
Most of the cabins (28) measure 22 m2 (235 ft2). The most luxurious accommodations are the two Luxury Suites located forward on Deck 2 "Cumbia" (30 m2/325 ft2) and the two Junior Suites located forward on Deck 1 "Salsa" (26 m2/275 ft2).
Standard cabin amenities include a Queen-size bed with nightstands, a mirrored vanity table/writing desk with chair, a small seating area by the French Balcony (featuring two armchairs and a round table), a wardrobe with hangers and drawers, an electronic safe (in the closet), mini-fridge, smart HDTV (with satellite reception and Internet access), and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a washbasin (single-sink vanity), toilet, and a separate shower with glass enclosure. The step-out balcony is furnished with two deck chairs and a low table.
The Suites offer more spacious interiors and include additional features such as bathtubs.
Unlike her sister ship AmaMagdalena, AmaMelodia does not offer 2-Room Grand Suites. Instead, she has two smaller Junior Suites and two additional standard cabins.
