AmaReina cabins review
Most AmaReina cabins are French Balcony staterooms, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open to a railing. The ship offers a total of 9 cabin categories, each accommodating a maximum of 2 guests.
One of the standout features of AmaWaterways' next-generation ships is the “Twin Balcony” stateroom. In addition to the traditional French balcony (also known as a “Juliet balcony”), these spacious cabins include a separate step-out veranda, providing an all-weather outdoor experience. All Suites on AmaReina feature the Twin Balcony design.
Below is a review of AmaReina staterooms, highlighting furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:
- Hotel-style queen or twin beds (200 x 160 cm) with luxury bedding sets, ample under-bed storage for suitcases, generous closet space, two long-range portable audio devices (for use during AmaWaterways tours and excursions), individual climate control, and dual-voltage outlets (220V / 110V).
- All cabins feature a private bathroom with a toilet, sink, glass-enclosed shower, hairdryer, premium bath products, and terry bathrobes. Additional in-room amenities include a telephone, personal safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily. Mini-bars are available in all Twin Balcony cabins. The Owner’s Suite (#302) also includes a sitting area with a sofa and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub.
- HD flat-screen TV with satellite and local channels, movies on demand, and an infotainment system with complimentary in-room Internet access and a real-time view from the bridge cam.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship.
- Complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, spirits, beer) and soft drinks are served during lunch and dinner. Bicycles are also available for use during shore excursions.
- All AmaWaterways shore excursions are complimentary and include professionally guided walking and biking tours. To enhance the cruise experience, AmaReina offers three types of group tour options: “Gentle Walkers” for a relaxed pace, “Active Walkers” for more energetic exploration, and “Late Starter” for those who prefer a later start to the day.
