MSC Seaview cabins review
Of all MSC Seaview cabins (2066 total), 1610 are Outside and 454 are Inside. All passenger accommodations have a double bed (convertible to two singles). To accommodate more guests (up to the maximum cabin capacity), 3rd and 4th berths are available in all cabin categories. There are 25 cabin categories in total, including the Wellness (Spa) grades SEW-Grand Suite, BW-Balcony, OW-Oceanview, and IW-Inside.
The following is a review of MSC Seaview staterooms in terms of amenities, furniture, and included (complimentary) services:
All passenger cabins feature twin beds (singles convertible to a king, or a double upon request), leather headboard, bedside tables with wall lamps, pillow menu, smart HDTV (infotainment system offering Internet, onboard booking capabilities, itinerary/port information, shore excursion details, movies on demand, live webcam views), direct-dial phone (shipboard use only), electronic safe, lifejackets (in the closet), hairdryer, mini-bar/fridge, closet/wardrobe, sitting/lounge area (mirrored vanity table, chairs), en-suite bathroom (WC, sink, shower), individual air-conditioning (thermostat controlled), and Wi-Fi access.
All MSC YACHT CLUB cabins additionally include Nespresso machines. All Suite categories feature larger bathrooms with bathtubs.
Interconnecting “cluster cabins” are specifically designed for large families and group travel. This concept allows up to three staterooms to be linked together and opened up. Seaview’s family accommodations are offered in three main categories: FAMILY (max occupancy 6; two connecting rooms, two bathrooms, one balcony), SUPER FAMILY (max occupancy 6; two connecting rooms, two bathrooms—one with bathtub—and two balconies), and SUPER FAMILY PLUS (max occupancy 10; three connecting rooms, three bathrooms, two balconies).
The new SJ3 “Seaview Suite” category features an in-hull veranda with a whirlpool tub. Category GS “Grand Suite” cabins are all forward-facing and include a large walk-in closet, two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with shower), a separate lounge (wet bar, four-seat dining table), and a spacious veranda. Both the master bedroom and the lounge have balcony access through floor-to-ceiling sliding doors.
Balcony Suites category S2 (decks 9 through 15) feature larger verandas. Category S3 Suites (14 total) are all aft-facing and offer oversized balconies furnished with one table and two chairs. These aft-corner suites (on decks 9 through 15) are designed in a beach-condo style.
YACHT CLUB Royal Suites feature a separate bedroom (with bathroom and balcony access), a large walk-in closet, a separate lounge (with wet bar and balcony access), and a spacious 33 m² veranda with a six-seat dining table, sun deck with loungers, and a whirlpool tub.
MSC “BELLA” cabins are in categories I1-Inside, O1-Oceanview, and B1-Balcony. Booking Bella-class staterooms includes added perks such as a 20-hour gourmet buffet, scheduled daily activities, access to a dedicated swimming pool, modern gym, open-air sports facilities, and earning MSC Club points.
MSC “FANTASTICA” cabins are in categories I2-Inside, O2-Oceanview, B2-Balcony, and all SuperFamily rooms. Fantastica-class bookings include 24-hour room service, 50% discount on fitness classes, dedicated kids’ activities, complimentary in-room breakfast, free delivery, priority dining times, and cooking sessions with the ship’s Master Chef. These higher-grade accommodations are located on upper decks with convenient access to elevators and popular venues.

Aurea-class bookings include a complimentary Aurea Spa package, unlimited access to the Thermal Area, a 60-minute massage per person (max two per cabin), 20 minutes of Solarium use, a welcome cocktail party, priority check-in, embarkation, and tendering, plus bathrobes, slippers, luxury spa products, and 24-hour unlimited drinks (specialty coffee, wine, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, gelato).

MSC’s “Super Family Plus” cabins are B1-Balcony staterooms located on decks 9, 10, and 11.
