Review of SS Beatrice deck 4 (Rhine)

Wolfgang’s Lounge & Bar is the boat’s indoor observation lounge with a dance floor, full-service bar, and stage for the live evening entertainment. In the evenings, here are offered live music performances by the resident duo (pianist/singer) and by local guests (post-dinner show). During the day, Main Lounge hosts the Uniworld Cruises’ enrichment program, which includes cooking demonstrations and guest lectures (themed food and wine, art and music, culture, architecture, etc). A traditional pre-dinner event here is the Cruise Director’s talks. They offer information and tips about the next-day scheduled Uniworld excursions (complimentary) and optional tours (cost extra) ashore.

River Beatrice's Main Lounge had a small bow-terrace (outdoor observation seating area with several chairs). During refurbishment 2018, the area was redesigned into the new Schubert’s Cafe (capacity 18 seats). In this fore-located restaurant are offered shared plates from lunch through dinner.

On Deck 4 is also the complimentary, 24-hour station for specialty coffee/tea (with cafe tables, cookies, candies).

River Beatrice's aft-located Captain’s Lounge & Bar was combined with a well-stocked Library. The lounge had comfortable seating, a full-service bar, wraparound balcony (outdoor sitting area with wicker furnishing), books and popular board games, two Internet computer stations. Captain’s Club lounge was also an alternative dining venue, offering early (6 - 7:30 am) and late (9:30 - 10:30 am) buffet-style breakfast (bread, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, juices). During refurbishment 2018, Captain’s Club was redesigned into Max's Restaurant. Here are also held, chef-led cooking classes.

Rhine Deck cruise cabins from 400 to 435, all of which are French Balcony staterooms in categories C1, S-Suite, and OS-Owner Suite (cabin #400 /portside, with fixed king bed). With fixed (non-convertible to twin) beds are also the Suite cabins 402 and 405.
