Review of Scenic Spirit deck 2 (Sapphire-Lounge)

Navigation Bridge (bow location) on river cruise ships is called “Wheelhouse” and is passenger accessible.

Elevator (middle level 3 of 4)

Located aft is the ship’s “cocktail” lounge (Spirit Lounge) and the River Cafe – both served by the cafe’s bar. Both venues are with floor-ceiling windows, large-screen TVs (often employed by the Scenic Spirit’s cruise director for lectures/presentations), piano (afternoon and evening performances by resident pianist), comfortable furniture (leather sofas/chairs). Drinks are complimentary (incl specialty cocktails, coffees, mocktails, fine liquors).

River Cafe is a waiter served alternative dining venue for early/late breakfast, daily light snacks (sandwiches, pastries), and a light lunch menu.

Large sliding doors connect the River Cafe to its terrace area (called Outdoor Lounge).

Sapphire Deck cruise cabins from 201 to 215, all of which are Deluxe Suites in categories BA and BB (midship), and B (forward).
