Scenic Azure deck plans

Scenic Azure (built in 2016) is a Douro River ship in the Scenic Cruises fleet. The riverboat is among the line’s newest vessels of the so-called “Space Ship” class. As the first company with an owned (not chartered) purpose-built ship on Portugal’s river cruising market, Scenic Tours is considered among Europe’s leading river cruise lines, offering all-inclusive fares and a wide variety of itineraries. All Scenic river cruise ships in Europe are approximately 20% longer and have smaller passenger capacity compared to standard riverboats operating on major European waterways.

The list of other Douro River cruise ships also includes Emerald Radiance (Emerald Waterways), Queen Isabel (Uniworld), AmaVida (AmaWaterways), and the Viking Cruises longships Hemming, Torgil, and Osfrid.

The Scenic Azure deck plan includes a total of 48 staterooms for 96 passengers, served by 36 crew and staff. The ship features 4 passenger decks (including 2 full decks of Balcony Suites), 2 restaurants, gourmet dining options, a Gym and Spa, and an open top deck (with a swimming pool, shaded seating terrace, and passenger-use bicycle station). One elevator connects all three cabin decks.

Scenic Azure is an all-inclusive luxury riverboat. Scenic Tours cruise fares include:

• hotel stays and transfers (to/from the boat)

• Wi-Fi Internet access (shipwide coverage) – all cabin TVs are equipped with Apple computer setups (cordless keyboard and mouse)
• Scenic Azure itineraries are port-intensive. Depending on the itinerary and travel dates, Scenic river cruise prices may sometimes include airfare. The Azure’s itinerary (Porto to Vega de Terron) can also be combined with cruises on the Seine River in France, with optional extensions in Lisbon, Portugal, and an optional land tour from Portugal to Spain (Porto to Madrid).
