Viking Idun (built in 2014) is one of Viking's longships. The riverboat is named after Idun from Norse mythology – the goddess associated with apples, eternal youth, rejuvenation, and spring. She is the wife of the god Bragi (god of poetry). Idun (also spelled Idunn) is the keeper of the golden apples, which the gods must eat to maintain their immortality.
Viking Idun’s deck plan includes a total of 95 staterooms accommodating 190 passengers, served by 50 crew and staff. She has 4 passenger decks and 1 glass elevator (connecting the Main and Upper decks only). The Viking longship Idun has no gym, pool/whirlpool, or spa. Guests may use health and spa facilities at luxury hotels along her itinerary route.
