The UK-focused travel brand Marella Cruises will return to Asia in the winter of 2023-2024.

Marella Discovery 2 will operate 4x 15-night voyages from Singapore and two relocation voyages (RepositionCruises.com) between Europe/Mediterranean and Singapore via Southeast Asian ports.

Before the COVID crisis, the company deployed Marella Discovery 1 in Asia during winter, but this is the first time Marella has returned to the region since then.

Marella Cruises (renamed in 2018 from "Thomson Cruises") is a "TUI Group"-owned and "TUI UK and Ireland"-operated British cruise line, that offers low-price voyages in Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia. The company's older vessels are chartered from Holland America Line and Celestyal. Marella's new fleet consists of TUI-owned ships formerly owned and operated by Royal Caribbean and TUI.
