30 cruise ships to call at Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) in January 2023

A total of 30 cruise vessels are expected to dock in Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco, Mexico Riviera) during January.

4 of the 30 ships that Puerto Vallarta is due to welcome this month have already arrived, with the first being the Discovery Princess ship on January 2nd, followed by the first triple arrival of the year (Norwegian Jewel, Navigator of the Seas, and Norwegian Joy) on January 3rd.

Of the 30 scheduled arrivals in January, there will be 2 triple arrivals and 9 double arrivals, as well as 5 arrivals from a single ship, Carnival Panorama.

The first double arrival happened on January 4th, with Carnival Panorama and ms Koningsdam calling on the port city.

The 2nd week of January will start with another double arrival, with Oceania Insignia and Norwegian Joy docking on January 9th. The double arrivals continue with Norwegian Jewel and Discovery Princess on January 10th, and Carnival Panorama and ms Koningsdam on January 11th. The week wraps up with the arrival of Royal Princess on January 12th, Crown Princess on 13th, and Emerald Princess on 14th.

For the 3rd week of January, on 16th Navigator of the Seas and Island Princess arrive; on 17th Carnival Panorama and Norwegian Jewel return. January 18th is the 2nd triple arrival of the month, with Norwegian Bliss, ms Zaandam, and Discovery Princess. Then, on January 20th, Emerald Princess will return.

Two double arrivals are on the calendar for the penultimate week, the Zaandam and Navigator of the Seas will arrive on Tuesday the 24th, and the Carnival Panorama and Discovery Princess on the 25th.

To conclude the month, Norwegian Bliss is scheduled to arrive on January 30th, and Carnival Panorama and MSC Poesia will visit Puerto Vallarta on January 31st.

ASIPONA (Administration of the National Port System) announced that at least 200 cruise ships are scheduled to arrive at the Puerto Vallarta maritime terminal in 2023, bringing ~350,000 passengers, and ~$42 million to the city.
