A foreign passenger vessel docked at Port Kobe (Kyoto Japan) for the first time in ~3 years.

The country had suspended cruise shipping following a COVID outbreak onboard Princess Cruises' UK-flagged ship Diamond Princess.

People waved flags to greet Diamond Princess when she sailed into Kobe on Wednesday, March 8th.

The arriving cruisers had to have their temperatures taken/show vaccination certificates.

They also underwent quarantine/immigration procedures prior to heading to the destinations for sightseeing.

Thorough anti-infection measures were taken onboard the ship.
