Attracting 3+ million visitors annually, Port Kiel's Kiel Week is currently the largest sailing and summer festival worldwide.

In 2023, AIDA Kreuzfahrten will once again serve as the exclusive partner for the event. They will showcase a large AIDA vacation world on land and three ships on water from June 17th to 25th, 2023.

The collaboration between AIDA and Kiel Week combines maritime tradition with a modern vacation experience. AIDA will have a strong presence at the festival, offering visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with the ships and experience the vacation atmosphere.

AIDA enthusiasts can enjoy the Kiel Week on 4 voyages: AIDAnova will embark on 7- and 14-day cruises to Norway and Denmark on June 17th and 24th, respectively.

AIDAluna will take guests on a 17-day journey to the "Highlights at the Arctic Circle" on June 23rd, departing from/returning to Kiel.

AIDAbella will set sail for the "Nordic Islands with Iceland" on June 25th, also departing from/returning to Kiel. Alongside creating unforgettable vacation memories, guests will have a unique maritime experience as they sail along the Kiel Fjord.

The AIDA Vacation World will be a highlight as well, offering guests a glimpse into the world of ship cruising. Located directly on the Kiellinie (near Reventlou Bridge), the 2-story AIDA Vacation World will occupy 200 m2 and feature the largest outdoor terrace right on the shore. Additionally, a new feature called the AIDA kissing stop will serve as an inspiring selfie spot. Visitors can explore an original cabin from AIDAcosma to catch a glimpse of their future home on board. AIDA travel consultants will provide information about the most beautiful vacation trips on AIDA ships. The AIDA raffle and other surprises for cruise enthusiasts of all ages will create a desire for the open seas.

AIDA is also sponsoring the first prize in the "Sport for Kids" charity campaign, which is a travel voucher worth EUR 2500. Notably, the entire Vacation World is made up of 95% reusable materials, demonstrating AIDA's commitment to sustainability for future events.

The highlight of this year's Kiel Week will be the closing show, "Starry Magic over Kiel," presented by AIDA Cruises as the event partner. This show will feature a spectacular combination of drone and light displays, illuminating the sky.

Throughout the 2023 summer season, a total of three vessels from the AIDA's fleet will make 64 calls at the Kiel Fjord. The season will conclude on November 4th with AIDAnova, the largest ship to visit the seaport of Kiel this season. AIDAnova regularly receives LNG/liquefied natural gas supplies at Port Kiel.

During the nearly 7-month season, guests will have a wide variety of cruise options to choose from, whether it's exploring the Baltic Sea, Norway's fjords, or the Arctic Circle. AIDA offers 3-, 4-, and 5-day voyages that provide the perfect opportunity for a short and relaxing getaway.
