DCL-Disney Cruise Line increases cost of dining

DCL-Disney Cruise Line has recently implemented price increases for its optional adults-only restaurants, including Palo, Palo Steakhouse, Enchante, and Remy.

Effective immediately, patrons dining at Palo on Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, Disney Wonder, and Disney Magic will now pay $50 instead of $45 for both brunch and dinner. Similarly, Palo Steakhouse on Disney Wish will also charge $50 for meals.

Remy, the French restaurant on Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, has raised its brunch prices from $75 to $80 per person and dinner prices from $125 to $135 per person. Additionally, the cost of dessert at Remy has increased from $60 to $65.

Enchante, another French-inspired dining venue on Disney Wish, will now charge $80 for brunch instead of $75, with dessert also priced at $65. The more extensive dinner options at Enchante, known as Passion and Collection, are now priced at $135 and $205, respectively, up from $125 and $195.

These new rates are applicable for reservations made on or after July 11th, 2023, while earlier reservations will retain the rates at the time of booking.

Guests still have the option to order select menu items separately to experience a wider range of prices. This is not the first time Disney Cruise Line has increased prices since the industry's restart.

In April, DCL raised prices for tasting seminars, including the popular Mixology Class, from $25 to $45.

Similar price adjustments have been observed across the industry, potentially due to inflation and to aid the cruise market's recovery from the COVID-19 downturn. Other cruise lines, such as Celebrity Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, and MSC Cruises, have also implemented price increases, such as higher gratuities and beverage package rates.
