Renowned River and Expedition cruise line, AQV-American Queen Voyages, has just announced the launch of new 5- and 6-day itineraries starting in February 2024. These exciting voyages offer travelers the chance to explore the natural beauty and rich history of the Lower Mississippi River aboard the contemporary riverboat, American Countess.

Cindy D'Aoust (AQV's President) expressed her excitement about these new offerings, stating, they were delighted to offer guests the opportunity to visit some of their favorite destinations while giving them greater flexibility in their travel plans.

As part of their commitment to providing diverse cruising options, AQV is presenting guests with the chance to visit iconic ports of call within a condensed time frame, as opposed to the cruise line's traditional longer cruises that typically last nine days or more. This condensed journey ensures travelers can still experience the rich culture, history, and cuisine that AQV is known for, making it an enticing option for those seeking a more compact river adventure.

Stepping aboard the American Countess, new guests will be transported to an era of leisurely travel and elegance, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the iconic river. AQV's dedication to masterful hospitality and all-inclusive offerings guarantees an unforgettable and seamless "introduction to steam boating" for those embarking on their first river adventure.

The 5- and 6-day itineraries are roundtrips from New Orleans (Louisiana), starting on February 17th and February 21st, 2024. Stops along the Lower Mississippi River will include St Francisville LA and the resort Nottoway Plantation House LA.

To sweeten the deal, AQV is offering their Great Ameri-Cation Sale, which includes a free category stateroom or suite upgrade, savings of up to $4000, and an additional $200 "Your Choice" OBC/onboard credit per stateroom for guests booking these itineraries.

The 5- and 6-day voyages start at $2400 per guest and are now open for booking.
