Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has detailed its most extensive fleet and itinerary expansion to date, confirming the launch of four ships and six new itineraries for the 2027 season.
The additions include three newbuild riverboats - the Super Ships (SS) SS Audrey, SS Marlene, and SS Sao Rafael. The fourth vessel is the chartered from Aqua Expeditions superyacht Aqua Blu, marking Uniworld’s entry into Singapore and Indonesia.
Company leadership described 2027 as a defining year for the brand, noting that the combination of new vessels and expanded routes would enhance its focus on cultural immersion and luxury travel. SS Audrey and SS Marlene, both designed similarly to SS Emilie debuting in 2026, will draw aesthetic inspiration from their namesakes—Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich. Each ship will feature interiors reflecting European heritage and cinematic elegance.
The S.S. São Rafael, a sister ship to the S.S. São Gabriel, will expand Uniworld’s Douro River programme in Portugal. The vessel’s name pays tribute to Portugal’s maritime legacy, referencing the São Rafael, one of the ships that accompanied Vasco da Gama’s 1497 voyage to India.
The expedition yacht Aqua Blu, operated in collaboration with Aqua Expeditions, will undertake two exclusive sailings annually, exploring the waters of Singapore and Indonesia. These limited-edition voyages will provide access to destinations rarely visited by cruise vessels, including Komodo National Park and the Spice Islands.
Six new itineraries will be introduced across Europe and Asia in 2027. These include a 13-night Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition combining land stays with a 7-night Aqua Blu sailing; an 11-night Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems voyage aboard the S.S. Audrey; and a companion itinerary, Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps, linking the Rhine and Moselle Rivers with land stays in Paris and Zurich.
Additional highlights include the 14-night European Gems voyage from Amsterdam to Vienna aboard S.S. Emilie, the 16-night Grand Highlights of the Danube aboard S.S. Marlene, and a 9-night Castles Along the Rhine & Amsterdam itinerary extending one of Uniworld’s most popular cruises with additional time in the Dutch capital.
