Silversea has completed its 2026 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage aboard Silver Shadow, bringing together first-time guests and members of the cruise line's Venetian Society loyalty programme for a 12-day voyage through the Western Mediterranean. Hosted by Silversea President Bert Hernandez and members of the company's senior leadership team, the round-trip sailing from Nice operated between June 19th and July 1st, calling at ten ports in France, Italy and Malta.
The itinerary, selected by Venetian Society members, featured a combination of established Mediterranean destinations and smaller ports, including Livorno, Porto Santo Stefano, Civitavecchia, Valletta, Giardini Naxos, Salerno and Portofino. An overnight stay in Livorno provided extended access to Tuscany, allowing guests additional opportunities to explore the region beyond the port.
Throughout the voyage, passengers were offered a programme of exclusive experiences created specifically for the reunion sailing. These included commemorative gifts inspired by the destinations visited, themed culinary events, enhanced onboard entertainment and a series of specially arranged shore experiences. The voyage concluded with a farewell celebration in Portofino on June 30th, where a fireworks display marked the final evening before the ship returned to Nice.
Bert Hernandez stated that the Venetian Society Reunion Voyages are designed around the preferences of Silversea's most loyal guests, providing an opportunity to engage directly with experienced travellers while gathering feedback to further refine the company's luxury product. He noted that the 2026 itinerary reflected the destinations selected by Venetian Society members and combined exclusive access ashore with tailored onboard experiences intended to enhance the overall voyage.
Among the exclusive shoreside events were a private evening on the Amalfi Coast and an olive oil tasting at a historic estate near Gaeta, complementing the destination-focused approach that characterises Silversea's reunion sailings.
Silversea has also confirmed details of its 2027 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage, which will be operated by Silver Dawn. The 12-day sailing is scheduled to depart Copenhagen on September 3rd, 2027 and conclude in Southampton, following an itinerary through Northern Europe selected by Venetian Society members.
The announcement coincides with enhancements to the Venetian Society loyalty programme, introduced on July 1st, 2026. The revised programme adds new recognition milestones and expanded benefits across all membership levels, reflecting Silversea's continued focus on rewarding repeat guests and strengthening customer loyalty.
