Taking safety seriously, Carnival Cruise Line debuted an entertaining safety briefing video outlining its safety regulations.
Produced with the goals of getting and keeping passengers’ attention as well as improving the knowledge of safety policies, it's being shown in all 34,000-plus staterooms throughout Carnival's fleet and captioned in Spanish and English, as well as in English with audio descriptions for visually impaired travelers.
“Safety is Serious Fun” stars the cruise line’s Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal, who appears in a nautical-themed “CFO office” and guides passengers through the safety messages delivered by 3 Carnival crew members as they tour the vessel and experience the dining, recreation, and entertainment features awaiting the 5.2 million vacationers who annually sail with the company.
