Passenger Medevaced from Anthem of the Seas

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a man from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship about 60 miles off the coast of Hatteras, North Carolina on Sunday, November 3. 

Officials revealed the Coast Guard got a call from Anthem of the Seas' captain saying a passenger onboard was showing symptoms of internal bleeding.

An Air Station Elizabeth City helicopter crew hoisted the man, his wife and a crew doctor from the liner's helipad, then flew them to the Vidant Medical Center (Greenville NC). Further information about the passenger's condition was not released.
