The next World Expo is to be held in Dubai next winter and passengers on board MSC Cruises’ ships deployed in the Gulf, MSC Seaview and MSC Lirica will have the chance to discover The World’s Greatest Show.

Around 25 million visits are expected from all over the world and Expo 2020 Dubai is the largest event ever staged in the Arab World. The main theme of the event is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, and it is the expression of how progress and innovation are achieved when ideas and people come together in unique ways. With a total of 192 participating countries, Expo 2020 is expected to be the most international World Expo ever.

MSC Lirica will be homeported in Dubai for winter 2020 with 7-night sailings that depart every Sunday visiting Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas, and Muscat before returning to Dubai.

The price of public admission to Expo 2020 is to be included in the price of the cruise ticket for passengers booked on Lirica. They will benefit from complimentary ground transportation offered from Port Dubai to Expo 2020 and back, along with a ‘smart queue’ voucher to shortcut lines at up to 3 Country Pavilions. The visit ashore allows plenty of time at Expo 2020.

MSC Seaview will also be sailing in the Gulf for winter 2020. Passengers will be able to buy official Expo 2020 packages of ground transportation and entry ticket in advance, as well as onboard. The liner will call at Dubai on Saturdays and then at Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas, Bahrain, and Doha prior to returning to Dubai where passengers can visit Expo 2020 on Fridays.
