Disney Cruise Line embarked on inaugural season cruising from New Orleans (Port NOLA, Louisiana). This marks the first time that Disney has had a homeport in Louisiana.

On Disney Wonder’s first departure from Crescent City on February 7, 2020, the liner received a celebratory bon voyage from Prince Naveen, Princess Tiana, as well as members of the traditional New Orleans Treme Brass Band.

The cruise kicks off a limited-engagement season from New Orleans this year, and Disney Cruise Line is scheduled to return to New Orleans early 2021. The voyages call at the Bahamas, the Caribbean and include visits to Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.

In New Orleans, travelers recognize the iconic sounds and sights that inspired Disney's animated film “The Princess and the Frog.”

Onboard Disney Wonder, the cruise line is “gonna take you there!” via a celebration of NOLA dining and entertainment at Tiana’s Place restaurant along with a menu that draws inspiration from the flavours of Louisiana bayou.

At the new French Quarter Lounge, passengers are transported deeper into the story to sip a New Orleans-themed specialty drink, dance the night away, and enjoy live jazz music. Throughout the days, music, trivia, workshops, crafts, and family activities bring the fun to life.
