AIDA Cruises Sending 8 Ships to the Elbe

AIDA Cruises is sending 8 ships to the Elbe River during season 2020. The vessels will dock in the Hanseatic City a total of 97 times.

AIDAcara kicked off the 9-month AIDA cruise season at the metropolis on the water with her arrival on February 8, 2020. Along with AIDAcara, the cruise ships AIDAaura, AIDAdiva, AIDAmar, AIDAluna, AIDAperla, AIDAsol, AIDAvita will visit Hamburg Port by the end of October 2020. The most frequent guests on the Elbe River are the AIDAperla ship with 26 and the AIDAsol cruiser with 21 port calls.

AIDAaura’s arrival on February 22 was a sensation as she departed from Hamburg in October last year on an XXL-adventure featuring a couple of equator crossings and 117 days of cruising around the world. On October 26, 2020, the ship will again be “Cast off!” for the 4th AIDA World Cruise with a total of 41 ports in 19 countries, on 4 continents.

In May 2020, AIDA Cruises is taking part as the main sponsor for the 9th time in the 831st HAMBURG PORT ANNIVERSARY. Between May 8-10, two cruise liners, AIDAsol and AIDAperla, will be there on the Elbe River. The highlight on the water will be the spectacular light show of AIDAperla on Saturday evening, May 9. 

On May 30, three AIDA cruise ships, AIDAperla, AIDAsol, and AIDAvita, are visiting the port. Those who would like to explore the world of cruising can visit two liners at once. Ship tours are offered in the port of Hamburg from February through October 2020. On special family days, explorers can view the ship areas and experience entertainment in the Theatrium. An a-la-carte menu and a variety of tastings are offered to gourmet fans. On the open SPA day, guests can experience the oases on board.
